Each of our project managers is a highly trained chemist, responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish. From initial contract signing to final product delivery, client communication and confidentiality remain uncompromised. We believe that an open chemist-to-chemist dialogue is the best way of ensuring smooth and punctual product development, and we feel that the key to this relationship is hands-on project management.


Internal
To help ensure effective internal communication, we have adopted Japanese car producer Toyota’s visual planning system. This allows us to visualize the status of all ongoing projects simultaneously, and to rapidly ascertain if Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met. This system helps us identify potential issues before they become problematic, and makes it easier for us to meet customer requirements swiftly and accurately.


In addition to maintaining the visual planning system on a daily basis, our project managers’ responsibilities include:

• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget
• Coordinating Syntagon staff and activities
• Providing clients with regular updates by teleconference or email
• Maintaining client confidentiality through secure communications when discussing and delivering sensitive data
